Intro
1959 Jaguar XK150, 3.4-liter inline six with twin SU carburetors, Moss 4-speed manual with rare Laycock de Normanville overdrive, Imperial Maroon over black leather interior, black soft top, and showing 95,003 miles. The XK150 was the final evolution of Jaguar's XK sports car line that began with the XK120, and this example's story is one of use rather than storage: restored by its previous owner, who purchased it in 1976, and then driven to Jaguar Club events and Cars & Coffee meets in Northern Virginia and Connecticut, and for many years as summer transportation between Virginia and New Jersey. Per the seller, it was driven daily during summer months while receiving meticulous regular maintenance from its long-term owner. In early 2025 the car received a comprehensive engine and transmission service, including a new clutch. The car is stored in Virginia, registered and insured in Connecticut. Seller states it is a 2-owner car and no accidents.
Exterior
The exterior is Imperial Maroon and features a long hood, flowing fenders, a wider chrome grille, chrome bumpers and accents, a modern one-piece windshield and dual chrome exhaust tips in the rear. The body, paint, and chrome present very well, per the seller, with a few minor visible scratches consistent with use. It has 16” wire wheels with knock off hubs wrapped in Firestone tires and disc brakes.
Interior
The interior is original and shows authentic patina with some expected wear. The interior is black leather with roll up windows, seat belts and an aftermarket AM/FM radio. All gauges work as they should.
Mechanicals
The XK150 is powered by Jaguar's 3.4-liter inline six-cylinder engine with twin SU carburetors to push out 210 brake horsepower (bhp) mated to a Moss 4-speed manual gearbox and Laycock de Normanville overdrive. In early 2025 the car received a comprehensive engine and transmission service including a new clutch. The seller describes a history of regular use with meticulous maintenance by the long-term prior owner. The car is numbers matching and it retains the original SU carburetors. See the matching numbers in the photos.

Seller Comments
The previous owner purchased the vehicle in 1976 and restored it over a period of years. A major benefit of this Jaguar is its history of regular use during the summer months. It was driven daily, frequently covering appreciable distances, while receiving meticulous regular maintenance. It has proven to be a remarkably reliable classic. The car is currently registered and insured in Connecticut and stored in my garage in Virginia. Connecticut does not issue or require a certificate of title for vehicles more than 20 model years old. The car sells with a completed Connecticut Bill of Sale (Form H-31) and a supplemental Assignment of Ownership (Form Q-1), the official state documentation used to transfer a non-titled vehicle.
