Intro

This is a four owner 2008 Porsche 911 (Type 997) Turbo Cabriolet in Carrera white with optional Special Cocoa leather interior and Coca convertible soft top. It has the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six driving all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a locking rear differential. There were only 300 cars imported to the US, so the 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is a very exclusive drop top supercar. This 911 is loaded with options and an original sticker price of $155,095. It was originally purchased from Audi Silver Spring, MD and now shows 11,932 miles. It has a clean Carfax with no reported incidents a clear title and is part of a private collection in New York.

Exterior

This 997 Turbo is painted in Carrera white with the optional Cocoa cabriolet soft top. The 997 Turbo was distinguished from the contemporary Carrera by its revised bumper covers, lower front lip spoiler, side and rear intakes, flared rear fenders, and speed-activated rear wing. The 19” Turbo wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. It has Porsche-branded six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers over 13.8″ rotors. It has Porsche All Wheel Drive with electronic stability control by the Porsche Traction Management system. The cabriolet soft top opens in just 20-seconds at the touch of a button and can be operated while moving at speeds up to 31 miles-per-hour.

Interior

The adaptive front sport seats are upholstered in optional Natural Leather Cocoa with debossed Porsche headrest crests. It has optional white stitching on the front seats, dashboard, interior doors, and center console. Optional interior items include instrument dials in Carrera white, leather sun visors with lighted mirror, sport seat backs in leather, aluminum footrest and a thicker leather steering wheel. It has driver-seat memory settings, automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche-branded floor mats, painted rocker panels, a Bose sound system, a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The Sport Chrono Package added a stopwatch on top of the dashboard.

Mechanicals

This 997 twin-turbocharged cabriolet has the familiar 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six, producing 480 horsepower. Maximum torque measures 457 pound-feet in standard format, and 501 pound-feet when utilizing the optional Sport Chrono package’s Overboost function. It is mated to a Tiptronic transmission so drivers can choose full auto or shift manually with switches on the steering wheel. It is current on all maintenance.
