Built 12/1/83 and delivered to Alpina in Buchloe for completion on 1/9/84. 1 of 73 E24 B9/3.5/1 models built. Sold originally in Japan, with an automatic transmission due to the traffic situation there. I imported it from Japan in 2015, and have worked on and off on refreshing it since then, including repainting it, refinishing the wheels, installing a new, correct deko set (came to me with a late set, but with the car's age it should've had an early wide set on it, which it has now), and purposely not restoring the interior--even though the front seat fabric is sun-faded--because hey, it's only original once, right? And because most of my other cars have been restored.
