Intro

1995 BMW M3 track car, one owner, purchased new in January 1995 and developed over three decades as an instructor's car. The 1995 model year was the first for the E36 M3 in the U.S., and this example has been progressively built for track duty, now running its third engine. It is a hybrid of a strong S52 block under an S50 head mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Seller states there was a 2005 accident at Watkins Glen International. There was no broken glass and right front, right rear and left rear body panels replaced with OEM BMW parts by Sansossio Auto Couture, Natick, Massachusetts. Seller states the car runs straight and true. It has a clear title and is in Massachusetts.

Exterior

Exterior color is Dakar Yellow. Following the 2005 accident, the right front, right rear, left rear, and rear panels were replaced with BMW parts by Sansossio Automotive; no glass was broken in the incident. The car is fitted with a carbon fiber sunroof panel and Turner Motorsport brake duct plates with 3-inch brake ducting. Braking is by Wilwood Superlite calipers 1.625-inch pistons front, 1.375-inch rear over E46 front rotors. The suspension is built around TC Kline adjustable camber plates, TC Kline 550 lb front springs, VVS 600 lb rear springs, and Koni double-adjustable shocks at all four corners, with Delrin control arm bushings, BMP rear adjustable lower control arms, and rear trailing arm reinforcement and a 3.15 limited-slip differential. It has D-Force wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes RR 235/70-17 with tire date code 3524 5.

Interior

The cabin is set up for instruction: a Cobra Suzuka GT Comp driver's seat on a fixed base, a Cobra Monaco passenger's seat on a sliding base, and 6-point harnesses on both sides, with a TC Kline E36 roll bar. The belts were installed 2008, date code 2013 stock steering wheel, stock dash, all gauges work, no door panels, HVAC works fine.

Mechanicals

The current (third) engine pairs an S52 block with an S50 head, per the seller, supported by high-volume fuel injectors, a Euro HFM, and a Turner Motorsport T506-300 chip. Seller estimates about 5000 miles on engine, no dyno info, stock 5 speed transmission.

I purchased the car new in January 1995 and am the only owner. It has been my instructor's car for Ferrari, BMW CCA (many chapters), SCDA, BMW Club of Canada and Sixth Gear. The engine is a very strong S52 block under an S50 head.
