Intro

2002 Audi S6 Avant Quattro in Light Silver Metallic over silver leather and Alcantara interior. It is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with Quattro all-wheel-drive system and a Torsen center differential. It is optioned with the Warm Weather Package, a solar sunroof, xenon headlights and H&R aftermarket sway bars. The seller purchased the car in 2018 and has added approximately 29k of the current 118k miles. It includes owner’s manuals, service records from current ownership, a clean Carfax report, a clear title and is in New York.

Exterior

The exterior is painted in light Silver Metallic (LY7W) with aluminum front bodywork, flared fenders, lower door blades, aluminum mirror housings, a solar sunroof, xenon headlights, fog lights, roof rails, a rear window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets. It has a sport-tuned suspension featuring a 20mm lower ride height, revised springs and dampers, and larger sway bars compared with the contemporary A6. H&R front and rear anti-roll bars have been added, and the factory anti-roll bars are included in the sale. The 17″ Avus alloy wheels are wrapped in Continental Sport Contact tires 255/35 R17. The seller notes deep scratches on the passenger-side front and rear doors were removed and the panels were repainted. Touch-up paint was applied to the rear bumper cover, and various chips and paint imperfections are visible in the photos.

Interior

The front sport seats and heated rear seats are upholstered in silver leather and Alcantara. It has wood trim accents, heated steering wheel, front-seat memory settings, a Bose sound system, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The cargo-area cover does not retract properly.

Mechanicals

This S6 Avant has the 4.2-liter DOHC V8 factory rated at 340 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. A C5 RS6 coolant reservoir has been installed. The ZF Transmission was professionally rebuilt in 2018 and included a remanufactured torque converter. The seller states that a timing belt service including the adjusters and rollers was performed in 2019, and the water pump and fuel pump were also replaced at this time.
