My mother-in-law purchased this vehicle new in 1995 and used it sparingly for many years (avoiding winter driving). Twelve years ago she gifted it to me as she wasn't using it anymore. It became the only car I've had that I actually loved - I'm not a big car enthusiast. There's something about the body style, the ride, the weight of it. It just fits. My daughter also used and loved the car and it just became Beemie. Now 31 years old, she has had a good run for us, but is in need of more care than we can provide. She still runs well (engine, transmission, etc) but needs work - brakes, shocks, etc - and has body issues with rust and other aesthetic issues. It's never had an accident and is still fun to drive. I don't want to see it sold and scrapped, so hoping to find a buyer who appreciates the car and likes to spruce up vintage cars.
