Introduction

1998 BMW (E36) M3 in factory Titansilber Metallic (Titanium Silver) over Mulberry Nappa leather interior, S52 3.2 liter straight six mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and showing just 63,500 miles. The seller purchased this M3 in 2018 and is the six owner. It spent the last eight years in California climate and includes extensive service records and documentation from previous ownership. This M3 is all stock with no modifications. In 2018, within two months of purchase, the seller completed a full-body blue vinyl wrap to protect the original factory paint. Factory options include dual-zone climate control, trip computer and power door locks. It has a clean Carfax with no reported incidents a clear title and is in California.

Exterior

The exterior is painted in factory Titanium Silver paint with matching VIN numbers on all body components. It has a black soft convertible top, and dual sport mirrors as equipped from the factory. It has BMW Style 39 factory wheels including spare wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires 225/45R17 front (tire code 3117/2117) and 245/40R17 rear (tire code 3017). This M3 still has the original factory paint with no respray or repaint. In 2018 it was professionally wrapped in a full-body blue Vinyl wrap, installed to protect the original factory paint. The seller states underlying silver paint is in excellent condition, and exterior photos are from 2018 before the wrap was completed to show its quality and the clean condition of the body and undercarriage. The wrap can be removed by the next owner if desired to return the car to its original silver finish.

Interior

The interior is upholstered in Mulberry Nappa leather with power front Vader sport seats. Interior options including dual-zone climate control, trip computer, power door locks, and 6-disc player. All Gauges and electronics work with no dead pixels. 

Mechanical 

The S52 3.2 litre straight six motor that powers this E36 M3 is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It is factory rated 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. The engine is stock with no modifications. It passed California smog test.

This is a very clean, well-preserved, and highly original example that has clearly been cared for by enthusiast owners throughout its life. I am the sixth owner, and the car comes with extensive service records and documentation from previous ownership. Mechanically, the car is in excellent shape and runs exactly as it should. It is currently registered in California and passes smog with flying colors. All factory components remain intact, including the original radio.
