Intro

This is a two owner 1984 BMW 533i in Bronzit Beige over Olive Leather interior. It has the 3.2-liter M30B32 inline-six engine, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It had a repaint in 2010 and completed an extensive service including cylinder head, timing chain/gears, bearings, starter, alternator, ignition system, oil pump, water pump and cooling system rubber components, clutch, driveshaft and rear differential seals. Modifications include a new Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust system. It has a clean Carfax and clear title and is in New Jersey.

Exterior

The exterior is finished in Bronzit Beige with aftermarket alloy wheels and chrome trim. It has quad headlights with fog lights with chrome-accented bumpers and dual exhaust outlets. Seller states there was a repaint in 2010 and no rust except for a small area of surface rust below rear window molding.

Interior

The interior features front bucket seats and rear bench trimmed in olive leather with a color coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels and floor mats. It has air conditioning, cruise control, an onboard computer, an aftermarket Alpine CD stereo, power windows, mirrors, and locks and a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel. The original instrument cluster was replaced because of a broken odometer gear and a bad service indicator circuit board. Included picture of instrument cluster indicates 137,700 miles but actual mileage is approximately 280,000.

Mechanicals

This 533i has the 3.2-liter M30B32 inline-six engine, which produced approximately 181 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Recent service included cylinder head, timing chain and gears, bearings, starter, alternator, ignition system, oil pump, water pump and cooling system rubber components, clutch, driveshaft, rear differential seals. It has Mobil-1 15w-50 oil, Redline fluids in transmission and differential. It has an upgraded (Holy Grail Labs) fuse panel, A/C system converted to R134 with rebuilt compressor and new battery.
