Intro

This is the only 1995 BMW 840Ci in North America with Individual Aspen Silver Metallic and Lavender Gray leather 850CSi interior. It is a US Spec car that was brought over from Germany in 2002 by the original owner. It then went to Dinan Engineering to increase performance. The seller became the third owner in November 2006 and had the car maintained by Rosenthal BMW, Palo Alto and then BML, San Jose. It currently shows 99k miles and recently completed an end-to-end inspection by Precision Motorworks in Santa Clara. It has a clear title and is in California.

Exterior

The exterior of this pillarless 840Ci coupe is Aspen Silver metallic with pop-up headlights, fog lights, a power-operated sunroof, and quad chrome exhaust tips in the rear. It has Beyern Spartan Black 19x8.5 + 15MM wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS+ tires 245/35ZR 19 in the front and rear with the BMW hub logo. Beyern hub available if wanting to swap back to wheel brand. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS. The brake calipers were painted red. Receipts are provided from refinishing of bumpers and passenger rear panel.  

Interior

The interior is upholstered in Lavender Gray Leather with heated power-adjustable front seats with driver position memory, leather covered dashboard, and an upgraded HD AM/FM/CD receiver/media player with Bluetooth. It has an onboard computer, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power-adjustable steering column. This 840Ci was ordered through the 8 individual program which provided the option to have the 850CSi interior installed. It has Z1XX Upholstery. The following items are in Montana Lavender Gray leather (no. 8 174 053): Front and rear seats, headrests, center upholstery section, inserts in the door and rear side panels (processed as per BMW 850CSi), lower instrument panel trim, remaining interior trim as per Black Nappa leather, key no. M5SW. The rear seats fold down and have the ski bag. 

Mechanicals

The engine is the aluminum-block 4.0-liter M60B40 V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission with 3 selectable modes: Economy, Sport, and Snow. It is factory-rated output is 282 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque with rear wheel drive. The factory rated acceleration from 0 to 62 miles per hour was 6.9 seconds with a top speed of 155 miles per hour. It has the Dinan Performance ‘Flash” Chip D900-4145E/582P and includes service records only thru current ownership.

One of a kind Individual 840Ci in Aspen Silver and 850CSi interior. Car has been meticulously maintained and recently inspected by Precision Motorworks of Santa Clara. All seals have been replaced, and new Bridgestone Potenza's installed with less than 75 miles driven on them. The manufacturer tire date is 1024. Car is ready for its new owner. Original stereo included and sheepskin seat covers; Car was tuned by Dinan Engineering.
