Intro

This is a four owner 1988 BMW 325ix Coupe in Alpine White with Black leather interior. It has the 2.5L M20 6-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and shows 244,500 miles. The seller purchased it in March 2001 when it had 80k miles and has 3 folders full of maintenance records and receipts. Standard equipment on the car is Ellipsoid headlights, computer, weather band stock radio and an M-Steering wheel. It includes both summer and winter wheels and tires. It has a clean Carfax with no reported incidents, a clear title and is in Massachusetts.

Exterior

The exterior is Alpine White with electric sunroof, rear deck spoiler, flared wheel arches and original style 5 15” basket weave alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohama Flevas UHP 205/55-15. Seller is also including a set of Nokia H's 185/65-14 winter tires on Steel Wheels with Hubcaps. It has new brakes, rotors, pads and sensor wires.

Interior

The interior is upholstered in Black leather with heated leather sport seats and M Steering wheel. New seat heaters were installed with OEM BMW parts. It has the trip computer, the air conditioning has a seized compressor and does not work, it has cruise control, power windows and power mirrors. The seller installed a new power sunroof and a special rear view mirror for reading maps.

Mechanicals

The 325ix has the 2.5L M20B25 inline 6-cylinder engine factory rated at 168 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The timing belt, water pump, thermostat and coolant hoses were recently replaced. The full record of maintenance items replaced is far too extensive to list. Oil is changed every 3K with Castrol 20W50. Valves are adjusted as required. The brake and clutch fluids are replaced every two years. The cylinder head and associated hardware was recently replaced.

This is an extremely well-maintained car owned by a BMW CCA member and enthusiast. The car has been stored in a garage from May thru November for 10 years. This 325ix was manufactured in 10/1987.
