Intro

This is a numbers matching 1973 BMW 2002tii painted in Ceylon exterior over black vinyl interior with mechanical sunroof. It was a ground up restoration with epoxy coated shell completed by The Werk Shop, Libertyville, Illinois. Everything on this 2002tii was either restored or replaced with new OEM parts. The tii received beefier brake and suspension components, larger-diameter wheels, and a heavier clutch. It has the fuel-injected version of BMW’s M10 inline four-cylinder engine that was known as the M15 and could produce 130hp. It has a clear title and is in Illinois.

Exterior

The exterior received a complete windows out repaint in Ceylon with mechanical sunroof and 5 alloy (tii wheels) wrapped in (4) Vredestein tires. The tire jack and tool roll are included. It has rechromed bumpers and bright work and suspension refresh.

Interior

The seats were reupholstered in black vinyl. It has a new headliner, new dash, new carpet, new sound deadening, new door seals, new door panels and all gauge’s work.

Mechanicals

Is it a matching numbers engine that was completely disassembled and rebuilt. It has the matching numbers fuel-injected version of BMW’s M10 inline four-cylinder engine that was known as the M15 mated to an upgraded 5 speed manual transmission. The Kuglefischer injection system is what makes the tii truly special, giving it a combination of midrange torque & top end power.
