Intro

This is a 1987 BMW M6 (E24) painted in factory original Jet Black over Silver Grey leather interior with a power operated sunroof and 16-inch Alpina rims. It has the 3.5-liter S38 inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential and shows 74,668 miles. It was purchased new in Seattle, Washington and later relocated to Colorado by its second owner and then stored in Florida and New York by its third and current owner. It has a clean Carfax with no reported incidents a clear title and is in New York.

Exterior

The exterior is painted in the original factory Jet Black (no respray or repaint) with a power operated sunroof, front spoiler with integrated fog lights, rear deck lid spoiler, bright trim, a power antenna, heated power-adjustable side mirrors and twin center-exit exhaust tips. The exterior paint is original and just completed a paint correction and detail. It has 16-inch Alpina rims wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle tires with three having date codes of 40/09 and 1 of them 23/09. It has power-assisted four-wheel discs with ABS and ventilated front rotors. Seller notes the right-rear shock is weeping.

Interior

The power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in factory original Silver Gray leather, which extends to the dashboard and door panels. It has driver seat position memory, a cassette stereo, upgraded sound system, an onboard computer, cruise control, front and rear air conditioning, leather-wrapped M-Tech 1 steering wheel, a rear window shade, and power windows and locks. All gauges are functional.

Mechanicals

This M6 has the 3.5-liter S38B35 inline-six with Bosch Motronic fuel injection with a factory rating of 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car has had its air conditioning compressor rebuilt, its radiator replaced, and fluids refreshed.
