Intro

This is 2003 BMW 540i M Sport Automatic in Black Sapphire Metallic with Black Montana leather interior, M Sport Package and showing just under 155k miles. The seller has owned the car since 2013, completed extensive maintenance, and it has been garage-kept. It has the 4.4-liter V8 paired with a five-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. This 540i is stock except for an aFe cold air intake, a Zionsville Autosport all alloy radiator and expansion tank, and a Dynavin 8 wireless Bluetooth CarPlay and Android. It has a clear title and is in Maryland.

Exterior

The exterior is Black Sapphire Metallic with 18″ Style 37 M Parallel alloy wheels, M Aero Dynamics, xenon headlights, fog lights, a power glass sunroof, Shadowline trim as part of the M Sport package. There are Continental Extreme DWS tires all around with brand new tires on the rear and 20k miles on the two front. 

Interior

The interior is upholstered in Black Montana leather with wood trim accents on the dashboard, door panels, and center console. It has CD stereo, heated front seats, folding rear seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and driver-seat position memory. It has BMW all weather floor mats, and a multi-function leather-wrapped steering. The Nav system was replaced with the Dynavin 8 for CarPlay and Android. The original nav system is in a box and included.

Mechanicals

The 4.4-liter M62TUB44 V8 was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 324 lb-ft of torque. The seller followed old school maintenance. Recent 2023 service includes new brake hoses front and rear, radiator hoses, coolant flush, fuel lines and filter, front and rear struts, 4-wheel alignment, rear sway bar links, water pump, gaskets and o rings, thermostat, water pump pulley and oil filter change. The timing chain, rails, tensioners and related parts were replaced as part of preventative maintenance at 128k miles.
