Intro
This is a BMW CCA Club Race Car that originally began life as a 1993 BMW 325. It was then converted to IS at the start of 2018 season. It has a fresh built S52 motor (Feb 2022) to maximum legal specifications. Numerous modifications include a full transplant of “M” trailing arms, front spindles, calipers, master cylinder, and brake booster. It is race ready, with logbook and completed 2024 annual inspection. This car currently holds the class track record at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. This Club Race Car was professionally built and maintained and is in New York.
Exterior
The exterior was repainted black prior to the 2024 season. It comes with 7 Kosei K1 17x8.5 wheels with 245/40/17 Hankook Z214 tires. The 8th wheel included has a cracked spoke and that cannot be used on track. It has 4 Kosei K1 17x8.5 w/ Hoosier Wets. It has JRZ RS Double Adjustable Coil Overs, Springs 750F / 900R, rears rebuilt May 2019, fronts new in 2023, Ground Control Camber Plates, Hotchkis Adjustable Sway Bars, BimmerWorld AN Power Steering Kit, Core4 motorsport front & rear wheel bearing hubs w/ ARP Studs, new studs on all wheels 2023, Optima Yellow Top battery, New insulated SS brake lines F&R 2023, New slotted Stoptech rotors F&R 2023, Rebuilt all brake calipers with SS pistons and new seals and guides 2023, BimmerWorld e36 Race Exhaust, Motion Motorsports Undertray and Aluminum Strut Tower Brace.
Interior
The 325 interior was removed, and race prepared with Momo Steering Wheel w/NRG Quick Disconnect, Longacre SMI gauges (WT,OP,OT) and push to start, switch panel, Lifeline 6-point harness (exp. 2027), Schroth center net (SFI exp. 2027), BimmerWorld mesh window net (exp. 2026), LifeLine Zero360 Novec fire system (3.0kg bottle exp. 2/2025), Cool Shirt cooler, OMP RS-PT halo seat (FIA exp. 2022 – seat brace installed in car).
Mechanicals
It has a fresh S52 motor (Feb 2022) built to maximum legal specifications with OE Mahle 2nd overbore pistons & rings, BimmerWorld WPC treated bearings, ARP Main cap studs, ARP Rod bolts, Cometic MLS Head Gasket, OBD2 engine management, Head is decked with valve job, new seals, new retainers, and ARP studs, Kassel Race Tune, two new 02 sensors, new cam position sensor, S54 filter housing with Euro Oil Cooler, new cold air inlet filter kit, BimmerWorld – 2023, ZF 5-speed w/ RTD shifter, 3.73 LSD with Rogue cover, underdrive pulleys, solid engine and transmission bushings and Optima Yellow Top battery.
