Intro

This is a 1988 BMW 535i in Alpine White over Beige Leather interior with the euro bumper conversion. It has the 3.4-liter M30B34 inline-six mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The dashboard exhibits some cracks, as often seen with these older classics. The onboard computer stopped working last year and the tachometer and odometer stopped working 5 years ago. It has a clean Carfax and clear title and is in New York.

Exterior

The exterior is finished in Alpine White with chrome trim and basket weave wheels wrapped in Michelin tires. It has quad headlights with fog lights with chrome-accented Euro bumpers and dual exhaust outlets. Seller notes rust spots on the rear trunk edges above license plate, window corners, and under wheel wells. Seller notes front left fender had minor damage by someone backing into it, and had to be changed, but the paint job was not matched properly to the car.

Interior

The interior features front bucket seats and rear bench trimmed in beige leather with a color coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels and Coco floor mats. It has air conditioning, cruise control not working, an onboard computer, an aftermarket Alpine CD stereo, power windows, mirrors, and locks and a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel. The onboard computer stopped working last year, the tachometer and odometer stopped working 5 years ago. The tachometer has an integrated instant fuel economy gauge, and additional readouts for fuel level and coolant temperature. 

Mechanicals

The 3.4-liter M30B34 inline-six was factory-rated at 182 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. Seller notes a recent inspection and tune, and the oil/filter changes were completed every year. Other maintenance items include:
