Intro

2005 BMW 330i ZHP, Imola Red over Black Alcantara cloth, 6-speed manual, S54-swapped and supercharged engine, built by eMpower Automotive, New Jersey. The chassis shows 163,000 miles and the S54 engine shows 47,000 miles. The ZHP Performance Package was BMW's factory-hotted 330i. This one has been comprehensively rebuilt around an Active Autowerke-supercharged, methanol-injected S54 from the E46 M3, paired with the M3's 6-speed manual gearbox. Per the seller, the build consumed over 100 shop hours, used Genuine BMW parts wherever BMW parts were called for, and produces approximately 530-wheel horsepower on a custom TTFS tune when originally dynoed. The seller reports no warning lights, no fault codes, and no leaks. Seller states it has a clean Carfax a clear title and is in New Jersey.

Exterior

The exterior is Imola Red with a power operated sunroof. The entire car was paint corrected by Convenience Collision in Bangor, Pennsylvania, and wears a clear bra as pictured. It has silver 18″ M Double Spoke staggered wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires 225/40 front and 255/35 tires rear. The ZHP Performance Package has revised bumper covers and side skirts, adaptive xenon headlights, fog lamps, rain-sensing windshield wipers and park distance control. All exterior lights are new Genuine BMW units and M door sills are fitted. The suspension comprises Öhlins Road & Track coilovers, Hotchkis sway bars, Turner Motorsport monoball front control arms, polyurethane subframe bushings, BimmerWorld expanded subframe reinforcement plates, a Mason Engineering custom rear strut brace with subframe reinforcement, and a Turner Motorsport skid plate. Brakes are ECS track rotors with CSL caliper carrier brackets.

Interior

The car is fitted with an E46 M3 instrument cluster with working rear door indicators and Bluebus integration for the factory audio system. It has automatic climate control, cruise control, black cube aluminum trim, Alcantara clad M badged steering wheel, heated front sport seats with driver-side position memory settings. It has a Harman Kardon sound system with a BMW Business CD player upgraded (prewired for) with mobile phone and satellite radio connectivity.

Mechanicals

The S54 3.2-liter inline six (47,000 miles) was prepared with a cylinder head completely disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with new valves and seals by a machine shop; timing chain components refreshed during final reassembly; WPC-treated rod bearings with ARP hardware; a new VANOS unit with updated bolts, VAC Motorsports VANOS pump drive, and Turner Motorsport stainless VANOS line. Forced induction is by an Active Autowerke supercharger with methanol injection and a custom TTFS tune, breathing through Active Autowerke headers (factory Section 2 retained) and a Stromung S54 swap muffler. The E46 M3 6-speed manual transmission is paired with a Sachs performance clutch and a Wavetrac 3.62 limited-slip differential with a new differential cover; per the seller, everything swapped from the M3 was powder coated in its original black finish.
