Intro

This is a two owner 2001 BMW Z3 Roadster in optional Black Sapphire Metallic ($475) with Beige Classic leather and black soft top. It has the 3.0 Liter six-cylinder engine mated to the optional 5-speed Automatic Transmission ($1275). Other options include the Premium Package ($950) and Harmon Kardon Premium Sound ($200). The seller purchased this Z3 in September 2022 and added approximately 6k miles. This is a southern car that completed a recent service in preparation for the sale. It has a clear title and is in Georgia.

Exterior

The exterior is Black Sapphire Metallic with a black power operated soft top. A new convertible top and rear window was installed in April 2023. The wheels were refurbished and painted and wrapped in newer Michelin tires 225/45 17” front and 245.40 17” rear. It has Halogen headlights with integrated fog lights, chrome front grille, aftermarket window tint, and chrome plated exhaust tips in the rear. The seller had the front lower spoiler repainted followed by a full paint correction and polish at 88,188 miles.

Interior

The Beige Classic leather interior was reupholstered in custom two-tone leather including leather shoulder strap. The audio system was upgraded with a new Blaupunkt (Barcelona 200 DAB BT) Bluetooth CD-USB radio made to match the look of the original radio but provide modern connectivity. It has dark wood accent on the console and includes Coco floor mats.

Mechanicals

This Z3 has the M54 3.0 Liter 6-cylinder engine factory rated 225 horsepower mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. The seller just completed a full service, including replacement of the serpentine belt, belt idler and tensioner pulleys, transmission fluid and filter change.
