The seller is the fourth owner who purchased this 1993 BMW 850ci from his uncle who purchased it on Bring A Trailer in 2017 when it showed 49k miles. It is finished in Calypso Red Metallic over Light Parchment leather interior. It has the 5.0-liter SOHC V12 mated to an electronically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission. The seller has owned this BMW since 2019 and added approximately 3,717 miles on the car. This BMW is accident free and has not been repainted. It has been extremely well maintained and is in Texas.

Exterior

Mechanicals

This 850ci is powered by a 5.0-liter V12 factory-rated at 296 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. The seller notes that the engine still has the factory cosmoline coating. Service includes new spark plug wires, ignition coils, front brakes, thermostat with coolant, batteries replaced, water pump, fan clutch, fan assembly, and expansion tank with cap replaced, engine oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, rear differential fluid, air and fuel filters along with the fuel hoses. The seller recently had both left and right fuel pump assemblies replaced. This was an expensive repair and upgrade after the original pump housing cracked and leaked. This new fuel pump assembly is updated to fix factory flaws and produce reliable modern day electric pumps. The brand of pump is V12Throttle and is highly regarded within the e31 community.
